Born in Hengelo, a small town in the eastern part of Holland, Maarten Mittendorff’s love for Dj-ing started at an early age. Dwelling first thru pop music and electronic music in general, he eventually found techno in the late 90s. When he moved to Amsterdam, his interest in detroit techno started to develop influenced by the sounds of Amsterdam based labels like Delsin and Rushhour. Inspired by this “machine soul hi tech techno” one can clearly recognize his energetic mixing style in his Dj sets.

DJ and producer that also works under the names Miss Fitz, Laverne Radix and Spunky Brewster. If her chosen name means anything—which it surely does—it`s not that Ms. Nidam is some sort of misfit. It might be more accurate to say that Maayan shapes sound to fit her own singular sensibilities—a strategy that has resulted in a significant and growing body of recorded work and a reputation as a talented, versatile DJ who unerringly takes listeners to special, unexpected places.

Makcim was born in Moscow in the year 1979. During his childhood he listened to classical music, Roxy music, Joy Division, Pink Floyd , Depeche Mode and many more.. At the age of 12 he moved to the Netherlands. Since 1996 Makcim started buying records frequently after he got inspired by the dance music in the Dutch house scene. In 1999 he got his first residency in a bar in Eindhoven called ‘De Hoogste Tijd’. During the time he played there, and also organised some illegal parties, he got to know some new people which he founded a new platform with, called ‘Minimal Eindhoven’.

From Napoli in the south of Italy, Marco was instrumental in the development of the electronic scene in the early 90s, he took the flourishing techno Neapolitan scene to the rest of the world. Over twenty years later and Marco is still one of the most respected artists amongst the techno scene, widely regarded as one of the key factors in driving the genre towards worldwide recognition within electronic music. As a revered producer and successful label head, Marco has spearheaded imprints such as Design Music, Zenit, Question, One Thousands and Do.Mi.

Almost 10 years later Marco is working hard to present his sound on the international music scene, with scores of releases included his 2010 HIT Ep ‘STRANGE NEIGHBORS’ on Moon Harbour, his solo EPs ‘WANT LIFE TIME’ and ‘HARD TIME TO TRAVEL’, creating a real stir and were featured on playlists of top DJ’s everywhere.

As a young child, Marcus was always smashing and playing on mom’s kitchen equipment. So at the age of 6, Marcus got lucky and started to take music lessons. Playing the saxophone in a band, big band and orchestra, gave him a wide interest in musical styles. Years later, in ’97 he was allowed at the Royal School of Music (The Hague) to study Sonology a study of sound. His interest in the upcoming house music in the 90′s, didn’t really match the (abstract) study of sound. So he decided to drop Sonology, buy some turn-tables and start dj-ing.. and so he did.

Marek Hemmann has grown into the electronic music as a hunter, collector and true connaisseur of tones and sonics. It all began in the beginning of the 90’s with a guitar whose sonic spectrum was far too limited for him. The discovery of the samplers and the synthesizers suddenly opened new possibilities where the acoustic world could be conserved; it was now possible with sound and noise on synthesizers to create what the human ear has never before experienced. The reason for the sonic passion was delivered to him via the techno parties late 90’s in his home area of Gera which was soon a weekly anchor for electronic experimentation.

Born to English and German parents, he has spent most of his life in England, though has never forgotten his German roots and is now firmly settled in Berlin. Since quitting his city day job in 2007 he’s been nominated for a DJ Mag award, toured all over the world, released an album on legendary UK institution Soma Recordings and released countless well-received and heavily supported EPs and remixes.

They resisted dark forces of political madness through electronic music and a celebration of life. DJing and music were always part of Marko Nastic’s background: even in his pre-teen years he was fascinated with synthesizers, drum machines and other sound making gadgets.

Markus Fix

Everything has started for Markus Fix with a gift of his brother in 1992, a Behringer 3 canal mixer. Kraftwerk, Yello and Off belonged to the artists who opened his creativity and his ears for the electronic dance music. In 1994 he visited for the first time the Omen in Frankfurt where Sven Väth, DJ Dag and Frank Lorber this did what DJ’s for one good evening have to act. Two years later he put into action his won inspirations, in the end, in the decks. In 2000 Markus and two DJ’s friends founded the “project 2000″ and started in parallel as Resident in the Frankfurt stage bar “helium”.

Martin Buttrich

Massimo Girardi

Massimo Girardi, son of Italian parents and born in Belgium got in touch with music about 20 years ago. At the age of 11, he got his first dose of dance music and at age 14, he bought first compilation cd’s that featured hits from the biggest house clubs in Belgium and Ibiza. But it wasn’t until the age of 18, when he quit his professional football career with Anderlecht, that Massimo began to experience the true magic of house music. It was at this point that he realized music was his everything. At 19 years of age, he began performing in clubs and parties all over Belgium.

In the past four years Gavin Lynch’s sounds have found a home on Perc Trax and Cocoon, plus most recently on Plus 8 , where Richie Hawtin recently introduced the young Dubliner ahead of his first Minus event (at Berlin’s Watergate, joining the Minus team for the official Fly Bermuda after party), with his stellar remix of Bryan Zentz’s D-Clash. After that introductory taste, Matador now takes the bull by the horns for his first full EP for Minus, exploring the twisted but organic techno sound he’s best known for.

Meat, is murder! Frankfurt/Main in the very early nineties. What wannabe-philosophers from today’s capital of Germany years later polemized as the „Raving Revolution“, was just under way. However the Hessians preferred to party in Clubs like th e Omen and Dorian Gray or organized small illegal open air parties out in the woods rather than giving advantage to gigantic industrial ruins. An innocent naiv era that still today is inspiring. It’s mind child is Carsten Schuchmann alias DJ Meat. Affected by countless Frankfurt-nights since 1990 and finally persuaded in summer 1991 through the mythical love parade Meat became one of the signboards of the city of capital.
