Twenty year old David August’s first musical introduction was being forced into piano lessons at the tender age of five years old. As time passed and David’s ivory skills grew, he came to love the instrument and excelled in it’s classic format.
At fifteen David’s first steps as a DJ began and it wasn’t long before he gained his first residencies. A year later he made his first forays into production and in 2008 he had his debut release. In the meanwhile David is now a fix member of the in Hamburg based label Diynamic, where he delivered already two EPs and remixes (“Instant Harmony EP” and “Peace Of Conscience EP”). His big successes were without any doubts songs like “Moving Day” or “Hamburg is for Lovers”, which brought him a busy 2010/11.
David just started his study at the “University of Arts” in Berlin now, where he is on his best way to become a “Tonmeister”. Beside his study, David is focusing on his debut album, which is going to be released on Diynamic in 2012.
